Katherine is an outstanding individual who has made remarkable contributions to the Trans community. Having transitioned over 30 years ago, she has since been her influence in the corporate world to promote equality and effect change. Her unwavering commitment to the cause has been truly inspiring, and her leadership has been crucial in advocating for LGBTI rights in the corporate sector. In 2016, Katherine launched "The Diversity Shift," a public speaking and mentoring company that aims to shift the conversation around diversity from mere tolerance to full acceptance. This initiative has been instrumental in raising awareness and promoting inclusivity, and has helped to create a more equitable and just society for all. Katherine was also the first Trans woman to be elected as president of the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Business Association (SGLBA) in 2018 and was reelected in 2019 and 2020.  The SGLBA is one of Australia's oldest LGBTI business networking organisation. Additionally, Katherine launched several online businesses in 2024, further demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to making a positive impact.
